ASH Year 10 Snapshot Survey |
Smoking Toolkit Survey | |
| The ASH Year 10 Snapshot Survey is one of the largest ongoing annual tobacco use youth surveys in the world. Nearly 30 000 Kiwi students aged 14 and 15 years old particpate each year. The survey allows New Zealand youth smoking rates to be tracked by gender, ethnic group and geographical area. | The Smoking Toolkit Study monitors quitting rates among New Zealand smokers. Smokers are followed up three monthly. Because of this, interventions to help smokers quit can be related to their current attempts to quit smoking. This means that services to help smokers quit can be rapidly improved. | |
